Automatic Special Shape C Channel Cold Forming Steel Rolling C-Shaped Purlins Forming Machine

 This machine processes coiled metal sheets into C-shaped purlins. The production line integrates key functions such as material handling racks, front punching,C-shaped purlins and C-section steel forming, and cutting. All these processes are fully automated under PLC control. The system utilizes AC frequency conversion technology to regulate speed, enabling seamless and continuous production. C-Shaped Purlins Forming Machine

The feeding frame consists of components such as an uncoiling frame, mandrel, and braking mechanism. The uncoiling frame is a welded steel plate structure. At the end of the main shaft, a square-head adjusting screw controls expansion and contraction, while radial movement of the tension pad on the mandrel secures or loosens the steel coil. The braking mechanism relies on friction between the brake band and brake wheel, with an adjustable bolt to fine-tune the unwinding speed.

Sigma purline sections are manufactured by cold roll forming pre-hot dipped galvanised steel, grade S450, having a minimum yield stress of 450N/mm2. The top flange of the purlin must have adequate restraint provided by robust steel sheeting (or similar) fixed directly to the top flange.The steel has an external galvanised coating Z275, giving an approximate coating thickness of 20 microns each side.
